Constellation Scholar Program to Help Seniors in High School

Constellation has created a scholarship program to help seniors in high school who intend to attend college. Scholarship America, the biggest creator and administrator of educational support programs for individuals, organizations, foundations, and associations in the country, oversees the program. Scholarship America’s evaluation staff reviews eligible applications, and eligibility for specific programs is decided at the sponsor’s exclusive discretion.

 Scholarship Requirements

  • an up-to-date, comprehensive grade transcript. Grade reports are not accepted. The student’s name must appear on transcripts.
    • Name of school Grades
    • Each course’s credit hours and the term in which it was taken are listed.
  • A copy of the first two pages of the most current IRS Form 1040 that was used for the application’s Financial Information section. All SSN numbers should be blacked out.

NOTE: If you are providing SAT or ACT test scores, and those scores are not listed on your high school transcript, you will need to upload a copy of your test score report(s) separately. If you are uploading a college transcript, those scores are not required.

Your application is not complete unless all required materials are submitted electronically.

Scholarship Benefits and Awards 

If selected as a recipient, the student will receive a $5,000 award. Up to 5 awards will be granted. Awards may be renewed for up to four additional years or until a bachelor’s degree is earned, whichever occurs first. Renewal is contingent upon satisfactory academic performance (maintaining a overall cumulative grade point average of 2.8 on a 4.0 scale and major grade point average of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale), continued part-time or full-time enrollment, and continuation of the program by Constellation.

Awards are for undergraduate study only.

Notification

All applicants will be notified in May.

Payment of Scholarships

Scholarship America processes scholarship payments on behalf of Constellation. Payment is made in August.

Selection of Recipients

Scholarship recipients are selected on the basis of:

  • Academic record
  • Demonstrated leadership and participation in school and community activities
  • Work experience
  • A statement of educational and career goals and objectives
  • Unusual personal or family circumstances
  • Financial Need

Selection of finalists is made by Scholarship America. Constellation will select recipients. Not all applicants to the program will be selected as recipients. All applicants agree to accept the decision as final.

Terms and condition of scholarship selection criteria 

  • Live in Illinois, New York, Pennsylvania, or Maryland
  • Be a high school senior
  • Plan to enroll in part-time or full-time undergraduate study at an accredited college or university or for the entire upcoming academic year
  • Be pursuing a major in:
    • Engineering – specifically Mechanical, Electric, Computer, or Nuclear
    • Computer Science
    • Data Science
    • IT
    • Cybersecurity
    • Finance or Business

Constellation employees and children of employees are not eligible.
