Duties and Responsibilities
The applicant will contribute to strengthening the capacities of PBF program teams and government counterparts as well as facilitating the quality control function of the PBF Secretariat and strategic role of the PBF Joint Steering Committee.

Education
- Advanced university degree (master’s or equivalent) in Monitoring and Evaluation, Statistics, International Development, Economics, Social Sciences, Strategic Communications or related area is required. OR
- A first-level university degree (bachelor’s degree) in the areas stated above, in combination with an additional two years of qualifying experience will be given due consideration in lieu of the advanced university degree
Experience
- A minimum of 2 years (with master’s degree) or 4 years (with bachelor’s degree) of relevant work experience in project monitoring, evaluation and results-based communication is required
- Experience with monitoring, evaluation and communications for peacebuilding, human rights and governance programs is desired.
- Having an experience in developing and sustaining partnerships with a diverse range of stakeholders including government counterparts is desired.
- Extensive experience in quantitative and qualitative research; primary and secondary data collection and analysis; and research report writing is desired.
- Strong experience with providing targeted and ongoing capacity building support to UN and non-UN program teams including on results frameworks, communications, reporting, monitoring and evaluation is desired.
- Having an extensive experience preparing communication and visibility materials including articles, press releases, human interest stories, tweets, banners etc. to inform diverse audiences and illustrate the evidence and impact of PBF interventions – excellent drafting skills is desired.
- Experience planning and managing program evaluations is desired.
Languages
- Fluency in in English is required.
- Working knowledge of another UN language is desired
