
Study or work abroad
You can receive an Erasmus+ scholarship to study or work in another EU country. You can undertake a study period lasting between 3 and 12 months or a traineeship (work placement) ranging from 2 to 12 months.
12 months per academic cycle
You can spend a total of up to 12 months abroad during each academic cycle. For instance, you may utilize 12 months during your bachelor’s studies and another 12 months during your master’s studies. This 12-month period can include any combination of study programs and/or internships.
Opportunities for recent graduates
Recent graduates can also apply for Erasmus+ support for traineeships, provided that they meet the following criteria:
- They were chosen by their higher education institution during their final year of study.
- The traineeship takes place within 12 months after graduation.
Eligibility criteria and grant
To be eligible for an Erasmus+ scholarship, you must be a student or a recent graduate from a higher education institution. Your institution establishes the specific eligibility criteria and the grant amount.
