Wilson Family Indigenous Scholarship Eligibility
You must be one of the following:
- An Australian citizen
You must meet the following criteria:
- An Indigenous Australian
- Commencing or current student undertaking an undergraduate degree at a Monash campus in Australia.
- Consideration will be given to applicants from one or more of Monash University’s defined equity or personal disadvantage groups.
- To be eligible you must provide a Confirmation of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander Heritage certificate or a certified Statutory Declaration form to the William Cooper Institute. Wilson Family Indigenous Scholarship Benefits
- $6000 per annum (48 credit points of study) for the duration of your degree.

- Awarded based on need.
- If you identify as an Indigenous Australian, you must provide a Confirmation of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander Heritage certificate or a certified Statutory Declaration form to the William Cooper Institute. To retain this scholarship:
- You must maintain a Weighted Average Mark (WAM) of 50 each semester.
How to apply
- VTAC applicants – If you think you might be eligible for an equity scholarship, ensure that you apply for the Special Entry Access Scheme (SEAS) through VTAC between Monday 29 July (9am) and Friday 11 October (5pm) to be automatically considered.
- For current Monash students, apply directly to Monash
- This scholarship cannot be deferred.
