Dunkin’ Baltimore/Metro DC Regional Scholarship 2025
Strong local communities are important to Dunkin’ and its franchisees. The purpose of the Dunkin’ Baltimore/Metro DC Regional Scholarship Program is to support local residents and our extended corporate family while acknowledging the value of education. Up to fifty $2,500 scholarships will be given out by this initiative to deserving students around the region.
Scholarship America®, the biggest creator and administrator of educational support programs for individuals, organizations, foundations, and associations in the country, oversees the program. Scholarship America’s evaluation staff reviews eligible applications, and eligibility for specific programs is decided at the sponsor’s exclusive discretion.

As part of your application, you must upload the following document:
an up-to-date, comprehensive grade transcript. Grade reports are not accepted. The student’s name must appear on transcripts.
Name of school, grades
Each course’s credit hours and the term in which it was taken are listed.
NOTE: You will need to upload a copy of your test score report or reports separately if you are giving SAT or ACT test results that are not on your high school transcript. Those scores are not necessary if you are uploading a transcript from college.
The deadline for submitting one online recommendation form on your behalf is April 18, 2025, at 11:59 p.m. Eastern Time (10:59 p.m. Central Time).
If all necessary documents are not electronically submitted through the Scholarship America Student Hub, your application is incomplete.
Up to 50 scholarships will be granted. If selected as a recipient, the student will receive:
- A $2,500 prize
- Awards have a one-year expiration date and cannot be renewed.
- Students are only eligible to win awards once; they cannot receive them more than once.
- Only undergraduate studies are eligible for awards.
Notification
In June, applicants will get notification. Not every program candidate will be chosen to receive funding.
Payment of Scholarships
Scholarship America processes scholarship payments on behalf of Dunkin’. Awards will be paid in one installment in July.
Scholarship recipients are selected on the basis of:
- Academic record
- Demonstrated leadership and participation in school and community activities
- Work experience
- A statement of educational and career goals and objectives
- Unusual personal or family circumstances
- An online recommendation
Selection of recipients is made by Scholarship America. In no instance does any officer or employee of Dunkin’ play a part in the selection. All applicants agree to accept the decision as final.
Applicants to the Dunkin’ Baltimore/Metro DC Regional Scholarship Program must:
- Be current undergraduate students or high school seniors who plan to enroll in part-time or full-time undergraduate study at an accredited two-year or four-year college, university, or vocational-technical school for the entire upcoming academic year.
- High school seniors must be residents of one of the eligible municipalities listed.
- Undergraduate students must attend school in one of the eligible municipalities listed.
- Students must show a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale (or the equivalent) or higher to be eligible.
Dunkin’ full-time or part-time employees who meet the eligibility criteria are encouraged to apply.
Students attending or planning to attend accredited two-year colleges or vocational-technical schools are also encouraged to apply.
Franchise owners and dependents are not eligible.

- Baltimore-related counties: Anne Arundel (MD), Baltimore (MD), Calvert (MD), Carroll (MD), Cecil (MD), Harford (MD), Howard (MD), Kent (MD), Queen Anne’s (MD), Talbot (MD)
- City of Baltimore (MD)
