Conference Objectives

Global Summit on Renewable Energy, Climate Change and Global Warming aims to provide a platform for discussions on climate and sustainability societies, by creating a stimulating environment that produces innovative ideas and clear pathways towards their implementation. Climate change is the greatest challenge of our time: a crosscutting, multidimensional threat multiplier. The most recent IPCC report confirms that climate change is now rapid, intensifying, and widespread. Given the urgency this moment requires, the President of the General Assembly will convene a high-level meeting on Delivering Climate Action – for People, for Planet & for Prosperity, focused on the gap between current and required technical and financial capacities to achieve the 1.5 degrees target and how that gap can be met, through showcasing best practices that simultaneously address climate action and the myriad structural challenges exacerbated by the pandemic.

This conference deals with the scientific concepts that underpin modern biotechnologies and how innovations can be exploited for the development of products and processes such as biofuels, novel bioactive compounds and waste conversion technologies. You’ll also explore the bioethical, socio-economic and regulatory aspects of environmental sustainability and the role of biotechnologies in environmental protection.
